Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

This is an Ultima V: Lazarus-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima V or other Ultima games.

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Terbor was quick to complain about the hard work that went into his inn, even though very few customers appreciated his efforts. He felt that most customers preferred the luxurious accommodations of the Wayfarer's Inn and the safety of Britain, especially since now that Lord British had disappeared there were far fewer visitors to Castle Britannia. He felt that even though his business had suffered due to Lord British’s disappearance, the old king had ruled with too light of a hand, and that Britannia would ultimately prosper under Lord Blackthorn.

If asked about Jaymes’ stolen trinkets, he mentions that the thieves had refused to stay at his place and had traveled to the northeast to get away from the farms.

After the Avatar discovered the identity of the Britain Resistance members Vigil, Leof, Thentis, and Joshua, the hero could inquire about Terbor's knowledge of their actions. Terbor admitted he had long known of their association, and that he had often thought about turning them in to collect a reward, knowing full well the consequences of such an action. The distraught innkeeper asked the hero whether he had any choice other than to turn them in to save his establishment, to which the Avatar could recommend betrayal, offer a sum of money, or merely offer to stay the night.
