Oh, perfect... Can someone please fix this mess?--Tribun (talk) 10:30, 13 March 2013 (PDT)
Dead-link trailers[edit]
It seems that some of those YouTube videos have been removed. I'd look for them myself and fix the links, but don't have any way to know which trailers are the right ones. If there was some description of them, I might have been able to find them.
Having said that, maybe I should document the ones that are still available for when they die off:
Heavy Metal Trailer[edit]
0:58
"Ultima IX Ascension - Inexplicable Heavy Metal Teaser Clip"
- hard rock/heavy metal
- shots of Castle Britannia
- pentagram erupting in flames,
- very short shots of (1-3 seconds)
- magic
- Pyros
- Skara Brae getting blasted (twice)
- Ends w/Avatar engulfed in flames
July Trailer[edit]
1:33
"Ultima IX Ascension July 98 Trailer"
- Starts w/Castle Britannia (just like HMT)
- British narrates the Avatar's new mandate and challenges
- Followed by music
- Shows action shots and dialogue and a variety of scenes making game seem eclectic
- On screen critic comments
- Ends w/Skara Brae getting blasted
Xmas Trailer[edit]
1:44
"Ultima IX Ascension XMAS 98 Trailer"
- Begins with ethereal music/voices and promotional text
- Vignettes of a brief history of Ultima games
- What looks like storyboard drawings
- Screen caps of the software that renders monsters
- Mostly without actions sequences or Avatar involvement until the end
Third Age Introduction[edit]
0:54
"Strange Ultima IX trailer"
- French
- Begins with a couple of text essays
- Narration from multiple voices
- Inscrutable scenes (in part because I don't know much French) including red, glowing skeletal hands (not the thick flesh you'd expect from the Guardian)
