Player vs Avatar

@UM: "To plant the seed, the Avatar left-clicks on the seed in inventory"

Was this an intentional choice or a goof? I tend to think of the player as the person who interfaces with the game (eg, clicks) and the Avatar as the character who does the actions within the game. --Sir Robin (talk) 00:26, 27 March 2025 (MDT)

It's just that for in-game subject matter we try to keep the body in-game and leave the out-game POV for the trivia. However, discussing the UI like that is out-game, so maybe I didn't improve anything.

Unless there's a good reason for focusing on the UI here, I think the section should be re-written. If, on the other hand, it is appropriate, then that would mean rather a lot of other articles need to be talking about UI.

If there is some important quirk or misunderstanding about how the UI works that we really need to communicate to the reader, that would probably go in the trivia section.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 07:34, 27 March 2025 (MDT)
