Talk:Reagents
Hello! I'm Manuel, from Spain: hope to help.
A question: is necesary to repeat the town (with the user) and then the user (with the town)?
Thank you for the wiki, is a great idea!
Sorry, played with this thing for 20 minutes, and I can NOT figure out how to properly set those shadings via Source. Dungy 03:18, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
According to Prima's Ultima IX guide, the correct name for the reagent seller in Minoc is Elena. Is that a problem in the book? Dungy 13:18, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Played the game, ...and when I checked again, I saw that I confused two people. It is simply annoying with this game. Since the NPCs have next to no personality, and no portraits, it is easy to confuse them with each other.--Tribun 13:25, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
- The U9 transcript is readily available at Quill Dragon's site, so in future it shouldn't be a hassle to double-check these things. --Terilem 13:45, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Zoltan charges 3 for sulfurous ash, not 1. I corrected it and removed the green shade of that cell. Nicodemus does not sell Mandrake Root, corrected that too and changed the green highlight to Horance. Source: in-game and compendium - joseph
Empty spaces[edit]
The huge, empty space around the reagents looks completely off, especially since they have obsolutely no justification as the biggest reagent is still much smaller. Not to sound like an ass, but that changes, or I change it. Personally I don't understand why you put these huge, empty spaces around items which serve no use at all besides bloating up tables.--Tribun (talk) 12:09, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- Between the margins in the images and the cellpadding attribute of the tables, it does seems there's a lot of wasted space. By default, when I make an image, I usually crop it as small as possible. I say reduce them. Also, feel free to add a transparency layer. The Ultra-Mind (talk) 14:43, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- How big should it be then? 40x40? If it is okay, I will change the sizes --Arthgon (talk) 15:00, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- My best advice is, to see what the biggest icon of that group has for size without empty space (for example: the biggest icon is 38x43 which would be rounded 40x45 for all) and then use that. It saves lots of space and yet still has all icons of that group in one size.--Tribun (talk) 15:05, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

I guess that goes. Well, it won't be blurry since you don't actually shrink to picture but cut away the surplus empty space.--Tribun (talk) 15:28, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
Black Pearl, Blood Moss, Garlic and Ginseng look ok, but why are the others so small? EDIT: Forget it, now it works. THAT'S more like it!--Tribun (talk) 16:08, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
