What makes the spell go awry?

I think it's a chance built into the spell that you get teleported somewhere entirely else, which does get lower with casting skill. That's how I understood it, but I have no idea about the exact mechanics.--Tribun (talk) 22:11, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
