What missing flames?[edit]
Can we get more info on the problem of the missing flames that the hack solves? The Ultra-Mind (talk) 14:27, 22 March 2019 (MDT)
- They are not present at all in Ultima VII, even though they should. The Keyring Mod adds them back in.--Tribun (talk) 14:46, 22 March 2019 (MDT)
- Like they weren't there at all? It wasn't an intermittent problem? I take it they aren't critical to solving the game. Do they solve anything else? Are we sure their absence is a bug?
- So for U7:
- Were the flames always absent w/out the mod?
- Would they be part of any side-quests or could you otherwise interact w/them?
- Are we sure their absence were a bug? Could OSI have never intended to have them there and someone else thought the game would look better w/them or maybe OSI intended for them to be there, but decided to skip that feature to rush to production or is it a total bugaroo and their absence leaves a big ugly scar that OSI regretted?

I'll take that as a 'we don't know yet'. The reason I ask is that the article now implies (or explies) about the flames' presence/absence in U7. This might need to change if we have a better understanding of OSI's intentions in that regard. The Ultra-Mind (talk) 09:09, 25 March 2019 (MDT)
