Sven is a pirate found in Buccaneer's Den during the events of Ultima V.
Description[edit]
Sven was unreserved in his admission of piracy, but also conceded to having experience as a glassblower. He turned to piracy for the financial benefit. Sven spoke about the various glass items he created, and even entertained the hero with an anecdote about a failed attempt at glass swords. However, he had heard of an airship that crashed in Serpent's Spine with swords of a similar design on board.[1]

Finely dressed and polite, Sven stood out from the other rougher pirates of Buccaneer's Den in Ultima V: Lazarus. He freely admitted that he plundered the seas of Britannia, and had become very rich through his endeavors, gladly showing off his finely wrought sword, and admitted no blade had ever touched his flesh due to his skilled sword arm. He achieved this success despite his humble beginnings as a glassblower in Minoc, which he admitted had barely provided enough of a living to survive on. He did sometimes long for the town of his youth, and the fine silk work of the tailor Fenelon, but had set up trade routes between The Den and Minoc for this purpose.[2]
Sven readily made advances towards the Avatar, and the hero could choose to spend the night with the pirate.
