Slithe is a valiant warrior living in Jhelom during Ultima IV.

Slithe, like many residents of Jhelom, was quite enthused by his city's Virtue and would tell the Stranger of the many battles he had fought, explaining that he felt Valor derived its power from the force of one's will, rather than from the force of one's arms. He would ask if the hero strove to be valiant and would discourage fleeing from battle unless the need was great.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Slithe can be identified as a fighter in the same location. He claims to have never known defeat in battle (and this is consistent with his original statement that he only suffered minor wounds), save at the hands of the enigmatic man in black, who struck him with the flat of his sword.[2]
