This article is about a character from Ultima IX. For a character from Ultima V: Lazarus, see Siona (Lazarus).
Siona is the musician in the court of Lord British during Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
Siona's passion was her music, and she had little time to discuss topics outside of it. Shortly after meeting her, the Avatar could ask Siona about the differences between a piano and a harpsichord, and if pressed she could also give the hero a demonstration of the well-known song, "Stones," explaining that it was one of the more popular pieces in the realm.[1]
Later, when the Avatar had need of the Ankh of Spirituality, the hero could speak to Siona once more about "Stones," and would find that she had transcribed a copy of the song onto parchment. If asked, Siona would gladly furnish the hero with this copy, allowing the Avatar to then play it on the harpsichord in Lord British's quarters and to thereby reveal the sought-after sigil.
Trivia[edit]
- Siona's counterpart in reality is Ultima IX art manager Jennifer Davis. Davis has also participated as Siona Devereaux in the Society for Creative Anachronism's barony of Bryn Gwlad, where Richard Garriott has long assumed the persona of Shamino Sallé Dacil.[2][3]
- In the fan-made dialogue patch for Ultima IX, Siona will discuss the closing of the Music Hall.
