Simple is a slender shepherdess living in Vesper in Ultima IV.

Simple can be found in a group of fellow devotees to the Virtue of Humility. She claims to be seeking the Shrine of Humility and can inform the Stranger that it lies on the north bank of the Isle of the Abyss and that it is guarded by endless hordes of daemons.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the supposed journal of the Avatar (discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein) Simple, Plain, Gem, Joseph and Randal all speak to the Stranger as a group, answering the hero's questions collectively.[2]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, Simple can be identified as the shepherd in the The Guild Shop, who gives the same information.[3]
