Plain is a short-statured man living in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Plain was a small and simple man who kept company with his fellow shepherds, and if spoken to he would warn the Stranger that Pride had no place among the Eight Virtues, praising Humility as he recounted the fall of Magincia.[1]
Trivia[edit]
Japanese NES remake.
- In the supposed journal of the Avatar (discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein) Plain, Simple, Gem, Joseph and Randal all speak to the Stranger as a group, answering the hero's questions collectively.[2]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (Japanese original), either Joseph or Plain can be identified as a shepherd in the same location. This character was removed in the English localization.
