Saphera is the priestess of a cult that worships Talornia in Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
The Avatar met Saphera deep within the bowels of dungeon Destard. She told the hero that she continued the work of Xarnthal, who believing the dragon to be omnipotent, set out to worship her and thus be saved. Saphera told the Avatar how their cult was making great strides in creating spells for summoning creatures of great power. When asked about the Wyrmguard, Saphera explained that they both served Talornia, but the cultists were not brainwashed to follow the Guardian like the Wyrmguard. Saphera encouraged the Avatar to worship Talornia, even suggesting he should join their cult. [1]
After the death of Talornia, Saphera lost her temper with the Avatar and attacked.

- Saphera's mention of summoning creatures of great power refers to the daemon summoning ritual which can be performed within Destard.
