Two men, both claiming the name Pinrod, could be found living in Yew during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Both gentlemen could be found within the Court of Justice, standing alongside judge Talfourd. These slender men would claim that they took council regarding Justice, and would speak of the Virtue in flowery terms, stating, "Justice is hardest to find at the point of a sword, as steel is just an agent of Justice, and humanity the perpetrator." Should the Stranger speak to them on the topic and claim to fight on justice's behalf, the twin Pinrods would advise the hero to listen to the chants of the local druids, which reveal the mantra of Justice.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Pinrod can be identified with the druid in the same room, who admonishes the Stranger to "Tell no lies".[2]
