Mike Ward is a ranger who may be found in the Wayfarer's Inn in Minoc in Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The stocky Mike Ward had originally hailed from Skara Brae and was travelling throughout Britannia in search of his city's lost rune. The Stranger could meet the travel-weary forester as he was attempting to rent a room from Estro and, upon speaking to him, would learn of his quest and of the significance of the rune in unlocking passage to the mystic Shrine of Spirituality and that it was missing from Skara Brae.[1]

- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Mike Ward can be identified with the fighter in the same building, who talks about runes in general.[2]
- A Michael Ward is listed as having worked on Ultima III, and may have lent his name to this character.[3]
