Ultima V: Lazarus[edit]

This is an Ultima V: Lazarus-related article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima V or other Ultima games.

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Madam Pendra instantly recognized the Avatar, saying all of nature rejoiced upon the return of Britannia’s hero. She openly complained that true Justice was nearly dead in Yew, and that the Druid Council, which used to run the High Court, had been disbanded and replaced by Judge Dryden's Inquisition. Madam Pendra even went so far as to suggest that no animal in nature would treat people to as great of an injustice as enacted by the new High Court, and she felt that evil was at the heart of the Oppression, although not all members were truly evil.[1]

Madam Pendra spoke highly of her daughter Drusilla, suggesting that she would be a great druid some day, although she still suffered from some of the follies of youth.[2]

At the behest of Linda at the Wounds of Honor, the Avatar could seek a cure for Jimmy of Trinsic’s illness from Madam Pendra. The wizened druid would quickly produce a concoction that would stave off his illness.[3]
