The Lord Blackthorn’s Revenge comic book comes with Ultima Online: Lord Blackthorn's Revenge. It is 22 pages long.

This color-printed comic book was drawn by none other than Todd McFarlane (the creator of the Spawn comics). The story tells about the tyranny of the cybernetic Lord Blackthorn and the rise of a woman named Dawn, who in the end becomes a valiant knight to lead troops to defend the city of Minoc from the army of the tyrant. Things like the presence of the Jukan and the role of Captain Dasha hint that the comic was originally drawn for Ultima Online 2, but then repurposed, with some text changed, when that project was cancelled and McFarlane's works were used for Ultima Online instead.
Other Editions[edit]
The comic book looks slightly different in the international releases. The contrast was tweaked to allow the art to be better visible, which is already seen on the cover. Interestingly, the comic was not translated for the European market and stayed in its English version. In the various Japanese special editions (those with the special covers), the comic book was not included.
