Joren is a reagent seller on Moonglow in The Ultima 6 Project.

A young man in his twenties, Jored was originally from Verity Isle, but had moved to Moonglow during the last year because he had been lonely on the largely deserted island. Here, he grew and farmed various reagents; spider silk he harvested from his domesticated albino ghoul spiders, and he also sold garlic, blood moss, nightshade, and black pearl. He talked extensive about where to find or gather the various reagents of the realm, and recommended the hero talk to Xiao of the Lycaeum about reagents he did not carry, and her research into silver serpent venom.
Pressed further about his loneliness, he admitted to being quite infatuated with the young assistant clothier Dulcie, but realized she only had eyes for her boss Garridan. Joren knew about Garridan's womanizing, and feared the older man intended on hurting Dulcie. Joren asked the hero to investigate the clothier, so he could discover the truth of his activities, and reveal this to Dulcie, so that she could be protected from harm. If the Avatar did so, Joren would be thankful, and hoped in the future he could get to better know Dulcie.
Should someone (the party) disturb his albino spiders by opening the gate to his garden, then Joren would be annoyed and raise his prices accordingly due to the now more difficult production.
