Janar is a goblin stationed at the Prison Tower of Tarna. He appears in Ultima Underworld II.
Description[edit]
Janar was a jovial individual who used his position as the regent's cousin to maneuver himself into a job as a kitchen worker. An enthusiast for rat meat, Janar would gleefully offer the Avatar a hearty snack and would freely joke about the plight of the goblins' "subordinate allies," Felix and Marcus.
Should the Avatar have learned from Borne that Janar possessed the keys to the upper prisons,[1] the hero could either present the cook with an appropriate password or slay him to retrieve them.[2]
