Marcus is a slave of the goblins of Tarna. He appears in Ultima Underworld II.

Description

Marcus had once been a knight in the service of Prince Felix of Fyrna. Prior to the Avatar's arrival in Tarna, both he and his liege had been captured by Freemis and enslaved in the goblin held Prison Tower. In addition to this debasement, Marcus had also had his tongue removed, rending him mute.

It was possible that the Avatar was able to engineer the death of the goblins in the tower and thereby free Marcus and his master, allowing them to return to what remained of their kingdom.

“	The kitchen-servants are human - a northern aristocrat, Felix, and his maimed second in command, Marcus. Neither is in any shape to aid the intruder, although Felix carries a magic item of some sort.
