Island Shipwrights is a shipwright in Jhelom, the city of Valor. This establishment appears during Ultima V and Ultima VI
History[edit]
Founded some time prior to Lord Blackthorn’s ascension to the throne, the shipwright was run by Bantral during Ultima V. Twenty years later, in Ultima VI, the store was run by Peer. As Mandrake conveyed, Peer, due to his great woodworking skills, often was more busy with replacing the furniture that got broken during bar brawls in the Sword and Keg tavern, rather than building new ships.
Fore some unknown reason, Jhelom, despite being an island town, abandoned shipbuilding and Island Shipwrights subsequently closed down.
Lore[edit]
“ | About the only person you won't find in the tavern is Peer the shipwright. With his skill for woodworking, he's kept pretty busy fixing all the furniture, or making replacements when need be. – from The Book of Prophecy (Ultima VI)
