Heftimus McPry is a beggar and former pirate in Jhelom in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
One of the ten pirates of Hawkins, Heftimus had once been a mighty sabre fighter, and all of Buccaneer's Den had quaked at his name. Then at one point he had the misfortune of enraging Hawkins' wrath, resulting in him losing one hand, thrown overboard by Hawkins to the sharks. This lost limb was later replaced by a hook. After helping the others to kill Hawkins, McPry had searched for more treasure, but had been unsuccessful. His piece of Hawkins’ map was stolen by rats in the dungeon Wrong, when he tried to use it to make a fire. Penniless, he was a beggar when the Avatar heard his tale in Jhelom in front of the The Sword and Keg.[1]
Lore[edit]
