Grindl is the provisioner at Billowing Rews in Minoc in The Ultima 6 Project.

An orphan who was raised at the former Poor House, Grindl had stayed in Minoc to start her own business selling provisions by the Minocian dock. She had become close friends with Julia the tinker during her time in the city. She warned the hero to be careful near the site of the former lighthouse Stormcrow, for the cliffs nearby were steep and and the building had fallen into disrepair after being hit by lightning.
Asked about the name of her shop, Grindl told the hero that she was raised by the Minocians Fiona and Rew after being left at the steps of the Poor House, and she considered the older Rew her sister. If the Avatar mentioned having met Rew on their previous visit to Britannia, Grindl told the tale of how the two girls grew up together, and after Captain Blyth fled Minoc with Lord British's return from the Underworld, the two sisters had set up shop as shipwrights in his stead. Rew, though, having been mistreated by Blyth all those years still found living in Minoc difficult, so after a number of years she saved up enough gold to buy her own ship, and had set sail to see the world, never having returned.
