Goodscrafter (Beninlem) is a merchant in the Realm of the Gargoyles in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
Goodscrafter proved to be an extremely depressed and despondent gargoyle who seemingly accepted the destruction of his world in complete resignation after losing his entire family to the cataclysm.
When approached by the Avatar without the Amulet of Submission, he would meekly stand there expecting to be slaughtered. Even after the Avatar had submitted, Goodscrafter refused to accept any change to his fate, and merely sat back to watch his world crumble, feeling that the Avatar took pleasure in all the pain caused by the theft of the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- Should the Avatar speak to Goodscrafter without having learned Gargish, he will say, "An-bal-sil-fer. Sum in-korp i. Vers." This translates to "False Prophet. To suppose you will kill me. All right."
