Gaydos is a character unique to the Super Nintendo-port of Ultima VII. He is the treasurer of Paws.
Description[edit]
Gaydos initially proved a quiet man, seeming to be interested in little outside of his work. Should the Avatar learn from Loomis, however, that the lamps in his office were lit on the night when the Fellowship's statue was vandalized, the treasurer could be asked as to why this was so. With little provocation, the guilt-wracked man would confess that he had long been embezzling funds from the city, and thus unburdened, would tell the hero about the knife he had found at the scene of the crime.[1]
The Avatar, now armed with new evidence, could take the dagger to the chief guard, Fuqua, who would help to discover to the perpetrator of the crime.[2]
Trivia[edit]
- Gaydos is the author of Accounting - In Your Favor, a book which gives advice as to how best to choose an accountant.[3]
- Gaydos' portrait is identical to that of Fred from the PC version of Ultima VII.
