Dax is a member of the southern militia group in The Ultima 6 Project.

Dax, the tracker and huntsman of the southern militia group, served alongside Carra, Hob, and their leader Thonyn, patrolling the area around Trinsic, Paws, and Skara Brae. Instantly recognizing Shamino, Dax jokingly accused his old friend of being vermin when they first met, forcing Dupre to take up a defensive stance. An unabashed lady's man, Dax constantly flirted with Carra, and the Avatar if female. Originally from Skara Brae and trained as a ranger, he had tried his hand at farming in Paws for sometime, but missed the solitude of the woods. When the opportunity came to join the militia, he immediately took up the calling, selling his home to the odd family that was later killed in a fire.
