Captain Bill is the ghost of the captain of a sunken pirate ship in Ultima IX .
Description[edit]
The 'ghost' of this ship along with the ghosts of its crew Captain Bill, Davey, and Simon came into the Britain port every night. Each night they were forced to relive the memories of their death. The ship sank when it collided with a rock in the ocean on a quiet night. The size and location of this rock was unclear. While it is not clear if the ship went under as a result of the columns, the cleansing of the Shrine of Compassion ended their suffering and allowed them to take their final journey beyond the mortal realm.[1]
