Captain Bill is the ghost of the captain of a sunken pirate ship in Ultima IX. He and his crew were forced to relive the circumstances of their deaths nightly.
Description[edit]
The crew of this ship consisted of the ghosts of Captain Bill, Davey, and Simon. They came into Britain’s port every night; forced to relive the memories of their death. The ship had sunk when it collided with a rock in the ocean on a quiet night. The size and location of this rock was unclear. While it is not clear if the ship went under as a result of the columns, the cleansing of the Shrine of Compassion ended their suffering and allowed them to take their final journey beyond the mortal realm.[1]
