Suits[edit]

There are 32 "slots" for tarot cards in the game; I'm assuming you can carry as many of each as you want, which means there are likely 32 cards. There are four suits of "Minor Arcana": Bells, Books, Candles, and Keys, each with four cards: Ace, Two, Three, and Four, with increasing rarity (common, uncommon, rare, and epic, accordingly). There should thus be 16 total "Major Arcana", of which I've only seen 9 in-game. Theoretically, the eight virtue cards are in addition to this total, so there are actually 40 cards total, and 24 Major Arcana.

Judging from the Web site, one should be the Gypsy. And I'm assuming since they have "The Blue Moon" depicting a chick sitting on Felucca, there will be a "The Red Moon" or "The White Moon" for Trammel.

So... when can I buy a full deck?! Mythic, take my money! --Browncoat Jayson (talk) 07:29, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Good research, and thanks for helping out! This wiki needs contributors. I've pretty much stopped working on the Ultima wiki, because I just don't know what to do anymore. Dungy (talk) 14:09, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Aces and Sixes[edit]

It looks like both the Aces and Sixes in each suit are named. I have a feeling that Lady Quicksilver is the Six of Keys, Lady Gold is the Six of Candles, and The Silver Queen is the Six of Books, although I have not seen them labeled as such in game like The Iron Queen is as the Six of Bells. Similarly, the Ace of Bells Card and Ace of Books Card should be named, like Phoenix is the Ace of Candles and Mermaid is the Ace of Keys.

I'm putting together a spreadsheet that matches up the Ultima Tarot cards to their real-world equivalent. We have 16 cards in the "Major Arcana" now, although I don't think we've seen them all yet. --Browncoat Jayson (talk) 18:55, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
