The Stygian Abyss was mentioned several times during the plot of Ultima Forever, but players were never able to travel into its depths. However, some images were revealed which indicate what might occur within.

- Gazers: "Round floating monsters covered in eye stalks. They usually live in the dark depths of the Stygian Abyss. Make sure you have magical protection if you end up fighting one."

- During the quest For Queen and Country, you acquire a Stygian Coin from Poisonmaster Flecks. When presented to Guardmaster Borgia, she says "This is Stygian Gold. Daemons are the only ones who use that metal." This indicates that daemons utilize gold, either mined or otherwise manipulated within the Stygian Abyss, as currency. The coin originated from Mimmoro.
