Traveling Dan is a colorful character who may be found in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Traveling Dan, "the tinker man," was a rotund individual, sporting a jaunty hat and vest. At the time the Stranger came to Vesper, Dan had come into town to assist Long John Leary with some repairs to the goods at his establishment. A seasoned world traveller himself, the flamboyant craftsman would tell the hero that the Britannian planet was, in fact, round and would recommend the services of the guild shop at which he was working.[1]
