How does British control it?

I left "The player also only would get the spellbook from Lord British, and the higher spells only become available with higher levels" in place, because I don't know what it means. It's as if Lord British somehow regulates how the player uses magic, but I don't know how. The Ultra-Mind (talk) 17:11, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
