Valor[edit]

I'ven't confirmed this in my saves, but it looks like unless one casts quite a few Tremor spells, entering this room from the North will cause one to lose Valor because they will have technically "fled" while evil enemies were still in the field. I'm thinking of patching this room by placing a secret door at ( 0, 1 ) and slapping a trigger on it to change the wall (tile #127) at ( 3, 4 ) to floor (tile #22). Fleeing from dungeon rooms doesn't effect Valor. One of the dirty little secrets of the game. :)

Putting in a secret door connecting the two sides would undermine the dungeon design. The way it is forces you to walk down through all the rooms. Seeing all these monsters but without the monsters being able to reach you. Only to reach a dead end and then you realize that now you have to go back through all those deadly monsters you easily walked passed before. -- Fenyx4 15:26, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
I rather like killing them twice, but I see your point. I did make a patch, but perhaps that should be an optional via a patch tool instead of just downloading an updated DNG file. Uniblab (talk) 21:04, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
