Changes to chronology[edit]
It would be good to first discuss before fundamentally altering the way we present the time-bending events of Ultima I (here and in the Mondain article). It took quite a lengthy group discussion on Talk:Mondain to arrive at the point we had.
This new sequence might be chronologically correct, but I'm concerned it could be confusing for the average reader who expects to find events ordered as they play out in the game. It could also make articles awkward by nullifying everything that occurred in Ultima I post-Gem. What do others think? --Terilem (talk) 11:27, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- That sounds reasonable, (although, I'm not sure how the Mondain article would be changed) but this one might be clearly if it didn't digress so much. The Ultra-Mind (talk) 18:22, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, I was referring to the recent changes to these articles, not making suggestions. Specifically, they now put Mondain's death at the beginning and have been reworded such that U1 never happened the way the player experiences it. This strikes me as potentially problematic, as till now we have included the events of U1 as a reality that was subsequently rectified.
