Nice one, Trib. This has been an up-and-coming suggestion of mine for a while, now. :) --Polygoncount 19:10, August 14, 2010 (UTC)

Volcano?[edit]

I was considering adding Volcanoes to this list, since they have been a part of the series in one form or another for a while, but they might be enough to warrant their own article, as they have never really been "true" terrain but definitely part of the landscape. Thoughts? --Polygoncount 21:57, 19 January 2011 (PST)

An own article would be best. However, right off I can only name three volcanoes: The Abyss, Morgaelin and the volcano of Valoria.--Tribun 06:44, 20 January 2011 (PST)
And of course the site of Mondain's skull/Blackthorn's palace. They are more of an incidental terrain feature in U6; the Isle of the Avatar is littered with them and there are a few around the entrance to Shame as well. --Terilem 07:07, 20 January 2011 (PST)
A volcano is also mentioned as being a problem (and there's a picture of one in the opening sequence) in Savage Empire as well. See? They are everywhere in Ultima lore, just not super-prominent. I'll work on this soon. --Polygoncount 08:18, 20 January 2011 (PST)
Forgot to mention the Realm of the Gargoyles as well! --Terilem 08:21, 20 January 2011 (PST)

Water isn't terrain[edit]

"Terrain of the sea" is a contradiction. Unfortunately, a generalization for terrain and water is a bit elusive to me. "Surface" would be even more confusing. Maybe "Terrain and water"? The Ultra-Mind (talk) 17:37, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Terrain of Eodon/Mars?[edit]

Worth it for doing separate Terrain pages for these locations, or should they just be added here in a separate section? Obviously we've already added a few descriptions from those places already. --polygoncount (Polygon Dragon -==(UDIC)==-) (talk) 13:53, 27 April 2023 (MDT)
