Do we have a primary source for "but the programmers had forgotten to add the appropriate dialog into his conversation tree"? -- Fenyx4 14:48, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

TV Tropes suggests that it was another character who was supposed to reveal the secret, but didn't, and then it fell to Smith in subsequent games to rip on this. In my view, this inconsistent narrative makes to harder to declare it canon.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 15:48, 20 June 2023 (MDT)
