Please, whoever it is that keeps doing it, the wise old man the Avatar meets on the plateau is called MythRan, not MythIan. Please check out your sources in future (its in the Ultima VIII booklet).

Ah, shit, I have the translated game, and in the german Translation, he is called Mythian.

No worries! Its not the first time I've run across dodgy translations! ;) At least it was just a name this time - the last time this happened, it was in a comic I read, where a character was translated as dead, while in reality, it was just that they had disappeared! :D
