Marek is a fisherman, living in Trinsic in Ultima IX.

When talking to the Avatar, he showed himself to be a pretentious and perfidious man. Due to a feeble work ethic he was unable to produce large catches of fish like his fellow fisherman, Umberto. He boasted how he managed to feign large catches by stealing half of Umberto's catch; bullying the man into enduring the theft.
After the Shrine of Honor was cleansed, he acknowledged the dishonor in his behavior and vowed, if not to be honorable, to avoid dishonor.[1]
