Gerrin is a member of the Oppression met at Bordermarch in Ultima V: Lazarus.

Having followed Blackthorn's order to follow the Avatar upon the hero's return to Britannia, Gerrin had been puzzled why the hero had chosen to visit the old ruins on a desolate island, until realizing that this may indeed be the home of the Resistance. Gerrin admitted he had insufficient numbers to storm the keep himself, so he demanded of the hero if this were indeed the home of the Resistance, so that he might report back to his master.[1]

If the Avatar Honestly answered, Gerrin would leave Bordermarch, and the inhabitants of the island, feeling betrayed, would refuse to speak to the hero. If the Avatar lied to Gerrin, the Oppression member would accuse the hero of being a fraud, and attempt to kill the Avatar and companions.[2]

Trivia[edit]

  • There is an annoying bug that even when Gerrin attacks the party, attacking him would count as if attacking a civilian. The trick is to turn off scripts and order the party to attack Gerrin's guards, not him. The Bordermarch guards will take care of Gerrin in the meantime without problem.
