Winthrop is a merchant staying at Honorable Inn in Trinsic during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
A scruffy and ragged man, Winthrop traded freely in rumors, and should the Stranger learn of him from the paladin Kline, the peddler could be asked if he knew aught of the city's rune of Honor. He would reply that a child known as Terrin knew where to find the artifact and would exhort the hero to find him and ask him of the rune.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Winthrop can be identified with the old man in the fields, who is similarly related to the rune of Honor.[2]
