Weed sprayer
The weed sprayer is an unusual weapon used in Martian Dreams.
Description[edit]
When searching the 1893 landing site, the Avatar found a weed sprayer, which looked like a highly unusual and seemingly useless item in surroundings like Mars. However, it became obvious very quickly that most life on Mars was plantlike in nature, thus the weed sprayer, filled with liquid weedkiller, was 100% deadly to all kind of enemies with a plant-nature, and that from a great distance. Of course it proved rather useless against the worm-type of enemies, that were animalistic in nature. Later, the weed spayer proved critical to free one of the lens towers that was overgrown with weeds, in order to melt part of the northern ice cap.
Martian-type sprayguns were also found in the ruins of their cities and buildings, which however worked exactly the same as the one from Earth.
A steady supply of weedkiller for ammunition could be obtained from Buffalo Bill at the Trading Post, where he sold each can of weedkiller for 30 oxium.
