The unnamed pirate is one of the Ten Pirates of Hawkins, and had one piece of the Treasure Map of Hawkins, which is needed in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
The pirate – about whom literally nothing is known, not even his name – died in a shipwreck at the islands off Cape of Heroes at 71°S 15°E, where, much later, the Avatar found his piece of the map, guarded by the undead remains of the crew. Homer actually identifies that shipwreck as Captain Hawkins' Empire. In fact, he says: "It was wrecked on the cape, southwest of here. Not far from Serpent's Hold."[1]

In The Ultima 6 Project, the site of the wreck was still the same, but the undead crew was even more deadly. However, the ship also hid many riches and good equipment in return for these dangers.
