This paper map of the Tokuno Islands came with the retail issue of Ultima Online: Samurai Empire.
Description[edit]
The map presents the Tokuno Islands in a way that is supposed to look like an old Japanese map, including some nonsense kanji. The map itself does not try to be too precise, appearing as it might be expected to look, had it been produced with the technology available within the game world. It does show roads and all the important places on the map.
Other Releases of the Map[edit]
In the Japanese editions of the expansion, there was a bonus for people who pre-ordered the game. A rollout cloth map that could be hung onto the wall like traditional Japanese tapestries. This version of the map of course if very rare due to only being distributed in Japan.

Trivia[edit]
- The isles Makoto-Jima and Isamu-Jima are in fact the map of mainland China broken into two pieces. One has to rotate the map 90° clockwise to see this.
