The Tempered Steel was a chain of Weapon shops in Sosaria during the time of Ultima I.
The Tempered Steel had one branch on each of the four continents of Sosaria (Lands of Lord British, Lands of the Feudal Lords, Lands of the Dark Unknown and Lands of Danger and Despair). Branches were available in Moon, Linda, Clear Lagoon and Dextron.

- The minimum and maximum depend entirely on the intelligence and charisma of the Stranger. The higher the intelligence and charisma, the lower the buying prices and the higher the selling prices.
