The Savage Empire Clue Book
The Savage Empire Clue Book: Malone's Guide to the Valley of Eodon is 67 pages long. It originally retailed for USD$12.95 and was published in 1990. It was written by Aaron Allston. In-game, it is narrated by Jimmy Malone.
Description[edit]
Following the new clue book philosophy introduced in Ultima VI, this clue book contains maps, hints, a history of the Valley and a detailed walkthrough of Savage Empire. The whole book is written from the perspective of Jimmy Malone as an after-adventure recount and he at times is far from being objective. While recounting the details of his time spent in Eodon, Malone makes it egoistically appear that he, not the Avatar, was the true hero of Savage Empire.
The book does contain much special art that was not seen in the manual that came with the game. All the maps are hand-drawn as well.
