Thad is a man engaged in a quixotic quest against the Fellowship during Ultima VII. He can be found in the forests near Yew.
Description[edit]
At some point after his sister, Millie, became involved with the Fellowship, Thad became convinced that her incessant devotion to the group was a result of either coercion or enchantment, and vowed to rescue her from their clutches. While correct about the group's impure motives, Thad eventually developed wild and fantastical beliefs about the grandiosity of his quest – considering the possible necessity to kill all within the Fellowship's ranks to gain Millie's freedom. He assumed that the Avatar of legend, being of pure motivations, had taken up a similar cause of wholesale slaughter – a belief which the hero could choose whether or not to confirm for the young gallant.[1]
Should the Avatar take Thad's concerns to Millie, she would prove dismissive, insisting that her participation in the Fellowship was completely voluntary and that she was in no way compelled to participate in it.[2]
Trivia[edit]
- Should the Avatar approach Thad while wearing a Fellowship medallion, the man will launch into an attack upon the hero's party.
