Talk:Isle of Fire

Can we merge the articles Castle of Fire and Isle of Fire? They contain near identical information and the same inhabitants. I recognize we separate Serpent's Hold and the Isle of Deeds, but in this case the two articles are so similar in content that either the two articles need to be better differentiated or merged. Facts and some others[edit]
There are some things that need checking into:
- There should be a caption under the map to reflect that it is the FOV one. I tried to, but couldn't figure it out :(
- Speaking of FOV, as long as you're here, someone might want to check into the last sentence of the first Description paragraph--the one about British making the shrines there. I haven't actually played FOV yet, so I have no clue.
- And for that matter, the Age of Enlightenment section: it's about FOV again, right? In that case, isn't all that text about the Age of Armageddon, since FOV is a U7 add-on? (Or were those shrines a product of the AoE, told during the AoA?)
- That whole section needs a rewrite one way or the other.

- LB definitely built the shrines on the island, which he did prior to Ultima IV, just before the Isle of Fire sunk beneath the waves. Thus it's not really appropriate to stick all that stuff under the Age of Armageddon. If the Third Age of Darkness ended with Exodus' defeat, then Age of Enlightenment is the proper section for that text. --Warder Dragon 22:10, 6 February 2013 (PST)
- As far I know the caption MAY only work if the picture is in thumb form (.. |right|thumb|Isle of Fire in FOV]]). However, I could be wrong. --Arthgon 03:19, 7 February 2013 (PST)
- Why does the whole section need a rewrite? Though the speculation at the end could be removed, I'm not really seeing anything wrong with the rest. --Terilem 17:11, 7 February 2013 (PST)
- There were other mistakes there. There still might be. I'd give "hoping that someday a champion of the virtues might find it a testing-ground" a field sobriety test if I could.
- I changed the banner to a cleanup one, because the issue w/the map is still relevant. What can we do about that, short of putting the text in the picture? Is it just a simple adjustment to a template? The Ultra-Mind 20:44, 7 February 2013 (PST)
