Strom is a shipbuilder in the Yew jail in The Ultima 6 Project.

A strong and muscular man, Strom had for many years built sturdy vessels for Britannia's sailors from the wood logged by Big Ben. He was imprisoned by Lenora when one of his ships went down in a storm with the loss of many lives. Lenora felt that there must have been something wrong with his designs, even though Strom felt his vessels had always been sound, even having another shipbuilder look over his plans before the vessel sailed.
Despite feeling remorse for the loss of life, Strom felt there was nothing to be gained by his incarceration, and he missed the salt airs and freedom of being by the sea. The shipbuilder was especially distraught over young Essian being in jail, feeling that was no proper place for a boy. Determined to make things right, after the Avatar taught Lenora the meaning of true Justice tempered by wisdom. Strom adopted young Essian, and took him on as an apprentice shipbuilder.
When the Avatar needed directions how to repair Jimmy's ship in Trinsic, Strom was able to give precise directions, adding that the repairs would require five planks made from the finest yew wood.
