Sloven is an old hermit living in Cove during Ultima IV.

Should the Stranger follow up on a tip from Terran in Trinsic, the hero might ask Sloven about the white stone, to which the old man would reply that the ghost of Isaac at the Inn of the Spirits knew of its location.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Sloven can be identified with the ranger in the same location, who still talks about the white stone. Instead of directing the Companions to Isaac, he relates the stone to the principles and, indirectly, to the altars.[2]
