Mitre is a radiant ranger living in Skara Brae during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Mitre could be found loitering near the northeastern entrance to the town, reading the journal of an unnamed wizard. According to her, the document claimed that the white stone of Spirituality could no longer be found upon its altar in the dungeon Hythloth. Should the Stranger agree to work towards reclaiming the lost stone, Mitre would advise asking of the matter at The Keg Tap in Trinsic, hoping that would lead to the artifact's recovery.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, Mitre can be identified as the ranger with similar dialog, in the town center. However, he seems now much more fearful about the consequences of the white stone's loss, claiming that "All the earth shall end!" unless it is recovered.[2]
