Sisik is a Martian who inhabited Mark Twain's body for part of the events of Martian Dreams.
Description[edit]
The assistant Gatherer to Fazek, Sisik aided his mentor by creating the proper soil environment for young seedlings to grow. Sisik told the Avatar how the soil contained all the memories of his race, and how the Martians were born with this memory intact. The assistant Gatherer felt it most inefficient that humans were required to teach each generation the knowledge from the past, and hoped to soon return the stolen bodies back to the humans who had used the Dream Machines, feeling it was inappropriate to retain the bodies longer than necessary.[1]
With the creation of mechanical bodies for the Martians, Sisik returned to Earth on Andrew Carnegie's rocket.
