Silver
"Silver" the name of a silver serpent which appears in Yoko Tanaka's 1989 Ultima-inspired manga, Ultima: The Quest of the Avatar.

Silver hatched from an egg belonging to the shepherd boy, Kati - who successfully attempted to sell the young hatchling to Deane and Io as they left Empath Abbey for a sum of one-hundred gold. For the much of the story, the dragon-like creature appeared only occasionally - too small to interact with the events around it. Eventually, however, it entered a deep sleep and awoke able to fly. The party released it into the sky at this point, unsure if they would see it again.
Later, however, when the group was threatened by a whirlpool at sea, Silver returned, now full grown and able to fly the group to safety.
